Why Brad Pitt Needs to be The New Face of Parental Alienation
AT the time of this writing, Brad Pitt has no idea if he will be spending Christmas with his children. He has already missed out on seing his children for 19 straight days which including this past Thanksgiving. When he finaly was allowed to spend time with his children it was under the supervision of a mental health "professional" and still, one of his children, the eldest, Maddox, refused to see his father.
Brad Pitt's crime? What did this father do to warrant having his time with his children not only limited but under the scrutinizing eye of a stranger? He must have done something? Right? Otherwise, how could one justify keeping a loving parent and his children separated at anytime much less the Christmas season? He must have done something. What Brad Pitt and his children are dealing with is a hideous and little known form of child abuse called parental alienation. Wikipedia accurately describes Parental alienation as "... the process, and the result, of the psychological manipulation of a child into showing unwarranted fear, disrespect or hostility towards a parent and/or other family members. It is a distinctive and widespread form of psychological abuse and family violence—towards both the child and the rejected family members—that occurs almost exclusively in association with family separation or divorce....Most commonly, the primary cause is a parent wishing to exclude another parent from the life of their child, but other family members or friends, as well as professionals involved with the family (including psychologists, lawyers and judges), may contribute significantly to the process. It often leads to the long-term, or even permanent, estrangement of a child from one parent and other family members and, as a particularly adverse childhood experience, results in significantly increased risks of both mental and physical illness for children." It is quite simply one of the most vile and detrimental forms of child abuse and it can happen to anyone. The fact that it is happening to an Academy Award winning celebrity shows it can happen to anyone. No one, not even an A-list movie star, is immune from this societal disease. So what did Brad Pitt do to warrant such cruel punishment? He was accused. Thats all it takes. In our family court system, a non-specific allegation is all it takes to have your parental rights limited, suspended or even removed. In fact the more vague the accusation, the harder it is to prove it's not true; how do you defend yourself from the accusation, "He made me fear for my life, " or "he lunged in my direction." Of course the allegations also need not be true. It is recommended by most family law attorneys and is used so commonly that using the False Allegation tactic in a custody battle has a name: The Silver Bullet. THE SILVER BULLET "High conflict parents with narcissistic/borderline patterns of behavior will do anything to win custody, including using the Silver Bullet. The Silver Bullet is when a parent or child makes false allegations of abuse about the other parent. These parents know that as long as they “claim” the other parent is abusing the children, the courts will suspend custody or visitation with the other parent until the claims have been investigated. They also know that the public will pay for the investigations and even if the accusations are unsubstantiated, just the accusation had caused skepticism about the other parent. The abusive parent uses the suspended custody time to psychologically abuse the children into aligning with their story (if they haven’t already). Abused children are helpless to get away from their abusive situation and will “bond” with an abusive parent because they are afraid of him or her. Sometimes children are afraid that they will be punished if they don’t do what the that parent wants and sometimes children are afraid that the parent will abandon them if they do something that he or she would not like. In either case, Judges consistently read this fear driven connection between the abuser and his or her children as a “healthy bond.” Their mistaken perception is further reinforced by assuming that if a child rejects a parent then that parent must have done something to deserve it." [2] The signs which have been there all along are now glaringly obvious; Brad Pitt has a massive problem on his hands. 2. http://www.targetedparent.com/blog/2016/2/22/the-silver-bullet |

Brad Pitt will get to see his kids on Christmas day at his home, In Touch has exclusively learned. Therapists treating the children have signed off on the visitation.
An insider tells In Touch, “Angelina [Jolie] is furious about this. She’s having a meltdown. She can’t believe it’s happening. After being told that the kids were cleared to visit Brad at his house she tried to change the terms and have the visit at her home. But she was firmly told no. And that made her furious.”

“Brad and Angelina are continuing their court battle, with Brad wanting joint custody of their 6 children and Angelina insisting on sole custody. Brad filed papers this week wanting everything sealed and attacking Angelina for making details of their battle public, claiming it would hurt the children. One of those details was Angelina naming the therapists who are treating the children,” the insider continues. “But this is a big victory for Brad as Angelina didn’t even want the kids to see him on Christmas. The two oldest children, Maddox and Pax, have the option to not visit Brad if that is what they want."
Brad and Angelina have been entangled in a bitter custody battle since separating in September. The battle became nastier after Brad unexpectedly spent Thanksgiving without any of his six children with his estranged wife.

No Thanksgiving With His Children
In Touch has exclusively learned that after spending part of Thanksgiving weekend in Turks & Caicos, Brad Pitt returned home on Saturday to spend time with his kids — only to have Angelina Jolie cancel their visit at the very last minute.
"Brad came back from Turks & Caicos on Saturday because Angie's team had assured him that he would see the kids,” a source said.
“He got back late Saturday afternoon and called to arrange the drop-off. He was told there would be no visit because Angie had changed her mind," the source continued. "Brad was very angry and disappointed. [He] wanted to have a belated gathering at his house on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend."
The bitter custody battle, which is headed to family court, threatens to ruin the rest of the kids’ — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 — holiday season. “Angie is still fighting Brad for sole custody,” the insider continued. “and it’s going to get even more brutal.”

Child Abuse Investigation Closes. Jolie lies about New Legal Agreement
In Touch has exclusively learned that the California Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) investigation, which was launched just days before Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt and demanded sole physical custody of their six kids, is likely to wrap up as early as this week.
After nearly two months, “DCFS will be formally closing the investigation after finding absolutely no evidence to support the abuse claims” against Brad, a source close to the investigation exclusively reveals.
After weeks of voluntarily submitting to intense questioning, drug tests (which he passed), limited visitation with Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, Brad has won a significant victory in the battle to secure joint custody.
Brad recently enjoyed a third monitored visit with his children and is now looking forward to many more.
“Though Brad has had another visit with four of the kids,” says the source, “Maddox and Pax didn’t want to go. But the kids have been in therapy and it does seem to be helping.”
DCFS wants the family to keep that up. “The goal is to bring the family back together and move forward with a plan of healing. Counseling will definitely be among the recommendations, along with co-parenting classes for Brad and Angie,” says the source.
As In Touch previously reported the custody battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is going to a new level and heading to family court, despite a statement released by Team Angelina that indicated a new legal agreement had been reached.

A mini Documentary on Parental Alienation using an actual episode of Desperate Housewives to highlight how easy a parent can hijack a child's mind and heart. This is, as we know, an epidemic. The ending is powerful as it shows how separated/divorced parents should speak to their children about the separation. For those of you who want to begin to get an idea of how easy it to brainwash a child to not only hate and fear another parent but to make false allegations of abuse either toward them or the aligned parent watch this video.
