Step Parenting...

Stories, the beautiful and the tragic, about step parenting. Our family experiences the entire spectrum; from the wonderfulness of bonus parents who bring additional grace, love, and blessings to a child's life to the tragedy of step parents who wreak havoc on the emotional health of children of divorce. (Add your stories/comments below)
This is what normal, healthy loving parents want for their children, but so many children are kept from having. Unfortunately, my ex-wife, Christy Garrison, is incapable of sharing our daughter. Its that simple and that tragic.
And because our daughter can never have this, she is having a tough time right now...its because she can't have this that our daughter  is an emotional mess.
On the other hand, with my wife's ex--the father of my step-daughters-- we have something closer to the situation depicted in this video.
Guess which children are doing better?
While our daughters at home flourish, (
http://maliariley.weebly.com/) the children at my ex's house (three children by three different fathers) all struggle.
Unfortunately some parents are incapable of placing their children first.
The price is paid by the children.
