Dr. Lohstroh, a 41-year-old physician at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, was shot to death while sitting in his sport utility vehicle outside the home of his ex-wife.

Attorney Kathleen Collins working with the case says, "“I think she has poisoned this child’s mind from the time I’ve been involved in this case that was January 2002,”"

A Friendswood doctor shot to death Aug. 27 by his 10-year-old son passed two polygraph exams showing he did not sexually abuse the child, according to Webster Police Department records.

Webster Police records include two letters from the two polygraph examiners that administered the exams to Lohstroh.

Lohstroh's first polygraph exam was administered by Travis E. Knowlton on May 9, 2002.

A report Knowlton sent to Kathleen Collins, an attorney representing Lohstroh in his divorce, states that Lohstroh was asked specific questions about the allegations made against him.

"It is the opinion of this examiner, after interpretation of the charts, that no consistent criteria indicative of deception was present to any of the above referenced questions," Knowlton wrote.

Knowlton said in his report that it is also his opinion that Lohstroh did not sexually abuse either of his sons.

Lohstroh took the second polygraph on June 6.

Examiner Ernie Hulsey issued a report on that day to attorney Jack B. Zimmerman, who was also representing Lohstroh.

"After careful analysis of the subject's polygrams, it is this examiner's professional opinion there was no deceptive criteria present on any relevant question," Hulsey wrote.

Hulsey refers to a computerized scoring system which showed a resulting score of "No deception indicated - the probability of deception is less than one percent." Polygraph examiners are licensed and regulated by the State of Texas.

After conducting an investigation, which included reviewing interviews with the children, Lohstroh and the polygraph, the Webster investigation was closed and no charges were filed on Lohstroh.

Lohstroh also received joint custody of his sons in his divorce.
